Types of Brain Waves
Beta – The fastest of the brain waves found in our conscious/working state –not the behaviour found in super learning.
Alpha– These are slower brain waves found in relaxation, super learning. Before sleep and in a drowsy awakening state. Higher intuitive factors are present. Good time for meditation as it is the beginning of access to non-conscious mind.
- Theta – Dreaming sleep. This is a good time for learning and memory and increased creativity. The potential to tap into the universal intelligence is increased and it is a good learning time.
- Delta – This is a very slow, deep dreamless sleep. Trained Monks can access this level of field in an awakened state.
Alpha Mind Power
The Greatest Power is the Power of our Subconscious Mind. Once we understand this and learn to use the power within us, we can create wonderful changes in our life. We can achieve many goals. The Alpha Level of your mind can be reached through meditation.
In the Alpha mind state you will be awake but very relaxed. This is the state you are in upon awakening in the morning or while daydreaming. It is in this state where visualization techniques are enhanced and where the mind is very receptive to suggestion and programming. It is in an ‘alpha’ state that those ‘ this feels great!’ moments happen, when your creativity really begins to flow, and when profound subconscious problem solving happens.

The alpha state is where you really want to be if you are working on personal change, self improvement, self development, personal growth, and self help. The reason for this is that when your mind goes into alpha, the more receptive it is to suggestions, affirmations, and programming. Everyone who wants to change the way they think, and as a consequence the way they behave, will enjoy the results they get when they apply their affirmations while they are in this state.
Say these words and repeat them as often as you can.
- Before me peaceful,
- Behind me peaceful,
- Under me peaceful,
- Over me peaceful,
- Inside me peaceful,
- All around me peaceful…
Visualise the thought and see yourself in your peaceful state.
Feel and allow yourself to believe, really believe the feeling is real, as you focus on the place you are saying, before, behind, inside…
Repetition will make this mantra feel very relaxing. If it doesn’t feel right saying or thinking these words ignore the discontent feeling and say the words anyway. Your mind will start to see yourself in the peaceful state.
This is the beginning of attracting to you what you want, say it, see it, feel it, allow the reality to occur.
Best to try and feel something, than not allow the experience to occur. Peace and Love are very powerful , feelings and thoughts. Allow the growth into your life.
‘Your Thoughts are Real’
Books I will recommend in learning meaningful information on the workings of the mind are – Mind Power by John Kehoe and – The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, written by Joseph Murphy. These books are well written and they both have good information in regards to our thinking ways. If we allow our subconscious thoughts to develop and be noticeable to ourselves, our conscious thinking will begin to be more of an observation point to us. This will make us more aware of our internal self-talk, our thinking ways, what we spend our time thinking about… To be in our own unique power we get to assess it through our subconscious mind.
A way to test this for yourself is to believe and feel your words. Repetition is necessary for learning, so repeat the sentence as often as you can in your own comfortable mind-state. Beauty, love, peace and abundance are mine. As you say the words, see yourself in a beautiful way, focus on love, be in a peaceful thought state and focus on what you portray abundance to be.A good idea to get this to work is to write the sentence on a piece of paper and on the back of the paper write I believe that the subconscious power that gave me this desire is now fulfilling it through me. Examples for sentences that may appeal are
- Perfect health is mine, and harmony operates in my mind and body.
- I have absolute certainty in my ability to generate any amount of income I choose.
- I am happy, healthy, wealthy and wise.
- I attract the partner I aspire to be with into my life.
- Infinite Intelligence leads and guides me in all my actions.
The list is endless, but you must really want what you write to be a definite act in your life. As you say it with conviction that it is already happened as you see it as you would like it to be. You will feel the power of the words, see yourself acting in accordance to the happening and your results are manifesting.
